November 19th - Luxembourg and Ms. Amalegro

Paris Departure
We had to depart the Royal St. Germain at 7:00 to get to the Le Meridien Etoile to meet the tour group at 8:00 a.m. When we arrived, Christian, the Tour Director, took our luggage and pointed us towards the buses, which were waiting out back. We drove for a couple of hours and had to make a stop at a rest stop so the driver could take a break as it's a regulation. We had some hot chocolate and used the washrooms. We drove a little longer (and I slept all the way) to Luxembourg.

Luxembourg
We had a little free time to eat lunch and shop. We had a bowl of Lentil soup since it was a chilly day. They were just putting up the Christmas market displays. Luxembourg is one of the richest countries. You can hide money there, if you have that kind of money to hide. We did find souvenirs for Sam and Syd in Luxembourg.

Trier/Embarkation
We continued to Trier, where we boarded the ship, Ms. Amalegro. It was a very easy process and our luggage followed immediately behind us. Apparently, the ship was only half full, so that's why. We had a meeting with the Captain who introduced the crew and gave us some safety tips. We now had only 45 minutes to get ready for dinner.

Dinner
We sat at a table with another Travel Agent, from Minnesota, and her husband. The waiters were very impressive! They came up to me with a copy of my Passport and information on what I could and couldn't eat due to my allergies.

After Dinner
Mom went to bed after dinner and I went to use the public computer. There were a lot of people there and we were talking, so I didn't do a good job of blogging. It was too distracting, so I uploaded some photos and returned at midnight.
