Airfare

Our airfare has been purchased. We would have saved $70/pp if I booked it a few weeks ago, but there was so much chaos because Grandma died. By the time I finally got around to doing it, it went up. We have nonstops each way though. ORD-Paris and Amsterdam-ORD.

We are flying on Continental, and I hope that everything goes smoothly. There was just another scare regarding some men who they suspected were related to the terrorist links. They caught them in Amsterdam. Who would ever think we'd have to worry about that sort of thing!

Cabin Upgrade

I bought an upgraded cabin because I really thought it would be nice if we had a French Balcony. The sales person was so nice. I paid for a specific upgrade, and he upgraded me one more category.

Bonjour!

Mom and I are beginning our European river cruise with 3 nights in Paris. We will be staying at the Hotel Royal St. Germain in the Left Bank region.

Mom has been wanting to return to Europe for a long time, so this was the perfect opportunity for us to do so. A river cruise is like a floating hotel that brings the destination to you.

This trip will begin on November 15th and we will return on November 26th.
